Born Fire was a vision long before it became a brand.
The idea of Born Fire first took shape in 2023, when Shreyas Santosh Kavankar, known as KING SK MUSIC, began envisioning a brand that could bring together his deepest connection with music, hip hop, street culture, and streetwear.
As a rapper and someone closely connected to the culture, Shreyas had seen rappers and artists around him struggle to find a space where they could truly feel represented. At the same time, his own journey came with its share of challenges and limited support.
That experience shaped the foundation of Born Fire.
The vision was simple:
To create premium streetwear with an authentic hip hop soul, without making it unaffordable.
At the time, Shreyas was in Dubai, where the idea continued to develop. After returning to India, he continued researching, studying the streetwear market, understanding the culture, and developing the concept while keeping his connection with music alive.
But turning an idea into a business requires more than a vision. Financial limitations meant the idea had to wait for the right opportunity.
A Vision Finds Its Right People
During this period, Shreyas had previously worked with Deepti Bhilare at the same company. What began as a professional relationship gradually developed into a strong bond built on trust, understanding, and genuine friendship.
As that trust grew, Shreyas eventually shared the Born Fire vision with Deepti.
After taking some time to understand the idea and think it through, Deepti decided to become part of the journey.
That decision became an important step in turning Born Fire from an idea into a shared execution.
From Vision To Reality
In March 2026, the work officially began to turn the vision into reality.
Research, planning, sourcing, operations, product development, branding, and countless small decisions slowly transformed the original idea into an actual company.
What began as a vision in 2023 was finally taking shape.
And today, Born Fire stands as the result of that vision, patience, trust, and relentless execution.
Born Fire officially begins its journey on 6 September 2026.
This is not simply the beginning of a clothing brand.
It is the beginning of a vision built around music, hip hop, street culture, and a community that deserves to be represented.
OUR CO-FOUNDER – DEEPTI BHILARE
Some partnerships begin with a business idea. Others begin with trust.
Deepti Bhilare became part of the Born Fire journey through a relationship that began long before the company did.
Shreyas and Deepti had previously worked together in the same company. What started as a professional connection gradually developed into a strong friendship built on mutual understanding, respect, and trust.
Over time, that trust created the foundation for something bigger.
When Shreyas shared the vision of Born Fire with Deepti, she took the time to understand the idea, consider the opportunity, and look beyond just the business itself.
Eventually, she chose to become part of the journey.
From Trust To Execution
In March 2026, Deepti officially became part of the execution behind Born Fire.
Her journey within the company has been focused on turning ideas into structured execution — contributing across operations, procurement, planning, coordination, and the many details required to build a brand from the ground up.
Building a company from scratch means dealing with countless decisions, challenges, changes, and responsibilities that aren’t always visible from the outside.
Deepti became part of that process from the beginning.
Not simply as a co-founder, but as someone who stood alongside the vision and helped transform it into something tangible.
Today
From a professional relationship to friendship, from friendship to trust, and from trust to building something together — Deepti’s journey with Born Fire is a reflection of how strong partnerships are built.
Today, she stands as Co-Founder & Head of Operations & Procurement, helping shape the systems, operations, and execution behind Born Fire.
Born Fire officially begins its journey on 6 September 2026.
